Walk for Community Healing to take place this Sunday at 4PM

In the wake of the tragic violence at the Ocean Centre this Monday, a number of local service providers, groups and individuals are coming together to offer an opportunity for Community Healing,

The event will start at the Cenotaph at the Court House and travel down Third Avenue West with the RCMP in the lead.

The procession will then turn onto Second Avenue West where those who wish will be able to place a flower, card or other item in memory of Patty Forman who was the victim of the horrific incident of November 21st.

The walk then will continue down Bill Murray Drive to Rotary Waterfront Park. 

North Coast MLA Jennifer Rice noted through a message relaying news of the Community walk as to how in a close knit community as Prince Rupert is, the community can serve as source of strength to hold each other up during a time as this
