There's some work ahead for parts of Prince Rupert's Recreation Centre infrastructure this summer.
With the City posting Two Requests for Quotations for projects at the Earl Mah Aquatic Centre and a segment of the Civic Centre Arena roof area.
For the Earl Mah Aquatic Centre the work involves Grouting services for the pool walls.
The closing date for Quotations is May 31st, the contract award to come by June 15th.
The City anticipates that all work would be complete by September 20th.
The Second bit of work will take a contractor to the roof area of the Arena's Zamboni Garage which is due for a new membrane roof system.
The Closing date for the Arena work Quotation is also May 31st, with a contact award by June 15.
The City Anticipates the work to be completed by November of this year.
