Prince Rupert's Soccer player have been on the pitch for a number of weeks now with the popular Spring Sport rebounding from the close of operations during COVID.
This years launch for 2023 saw 375 youth hit the pitch, and with the season start has also come the expansion of development programs for the city's soccer playing youth.
With PRYSA President Charles Cook outlining the focus for the programs for the year ahead.
"Our development programs have a one singular goal: to put players in development streams that will meet their needs in terms of developing their abilities required to play the game as well as developing a love for the game.
As a community based association, we achieve our primary objective when we see players stay in the game all the way to U18.
To achieve this success, we need commitment from parents, a lot of work by our coaches and the trust that we are all looking out for the best interest of all of our players."
