Seafest organizers put out call for Volunteers for three days of tasks ahead


A few hands to share in the work of putting on Show that is Seafest is the call from organizers this week, with the countdown to the annual signal of the summer season in Prince Rupert just days away.

Through their Social media stream, Seafest organizers are looking for some help in a few areas of the three day production that makes for Seafest weekend.

Among some of the requests for some assistance

Friday: 7pm loading up the trailer and putting no parking signs up. 

Saturday: 9am general help moving stuff helping with tent and stage 
 5pm taking down barricades. 
Moving lots of stuff to Credit union 

Sunday: 9am Putting up barricades and tents 
12-2pm: Dockmaster for PE wharf (jigging challenge) hand out lures, make sure everyone has a license and life jacket. 
4pm: Take down barricades and tents and going to the credit union.
