Detectives wanted: AFFNO Murder Mystery set for Saturday night

THE MYSTERY OF THE SASQUATCH'S PURSE

The title for the night reads like a Hardy Boys or Nancy Drew book title (look that up kids) with the Crest Hotel's BC Room once again the setting for murder, mystery and fundraising on behalf of AFFNO (Association des Francophones et Francophiles de Nord-Ouest) which will host the popular night of mystery and deduction this Saturday night at 7PM.

The annual fundraiser, this year celebrating it's eight edition, will provide the corpse and back story, those in attendance will work their inner Clouseau to solve the crime.

And for those who did not pay as much attention in french class as they should have, the script and performances are in English, so no clues will be lost in translation.

Saturday evening's event also features a Silent Auction, Loonie auction, as well as a number of prizes to be awarded through the night.

The Murder Mystery themes of AFFNO have proven to be a popular night out for Rupertites and helps to showcase the work of the Organization in the Northwest, as well as to provide some of the funding for their programs around the region.

Tickets for Saturday Murder Mystery event can be purchased in advance at Cooks Jeweller's and at the Hecate Strait Business Development Offices on First Avenue East.

Price for admission for the licensed event are set at 35 dollars and would be detectives should note that there will be NO Tickets available at the door on Saturday.
