New CityWest website offers new design and improved supports for customers

The online first impression to the world for CityWest has been given an upgrade this month, with the City of Prince Rupert owned and operated communication company launching a re-designed website that offers a cleaner look and access to a range of information.

From its launch page, customers and potential customers can explore the services that are offered by CityWest reviewing the scope of the Internet, phone and Television services that are available across the Northwest.

From the latest promotions available for customers to support options to troubleshoot for any problems that could come up, the website is easy to navigate as it directs you to the right location.

The information flow also includes background on the history of the communication company, it's management, Board of Directors and the Community involvement that CityWest takes part in over the course of the year.

In an introduction to the new website, Chris Armstrong, the Director of Marketing for CityWest, outlined what the communication company wanted to feature on its new visual gateway, among some of the improved elements:

“We wanted to build upon the previous version of the website and provide a great experience to our customers. We hope customers enjoy the new look and improved usability.”

“We’re going to be featuring more videos on our website in the future, and this new website will be able to handle the large data that such videos require.

“We’ve also made arrangements to ensure the loading time for each page is as quick as possible, so there are no lags for the user.”

With offices in Prince Rupert, Terrace, Kitimat and Smithers, CityWest employs over 80 residents of the Northwest and delivers communication options to over 15,000 residences and business in the region.

The new CityWest website can be explored from the same web address as the old, users can submit their feedback on the new look and make suggestions to add on to it, by contacting CityWest here.
