Your chance to don the Red Serge of the RCMP could start with an information session.
Residents of the Northwest seeking more information about the career opportunities with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police can learn more about what the Force has to offer through some community engagement this spring.
Away from our post in late April, we missed the opportunity to share word of the Prince Rupert stop of the RCMP recruiting drive at the Prince Rupert campus of NWCC on April 30th, however for those that may not have been able to make that session, there is another regional opportunity coming up in May.
The Recruitment information sessions program moves on to Terrace on May 21st, with a 5:30 session set for Northwest Community College.
Other information sessions are to be held in Smithers and the Hazeltons, though dates and times have yet to be posted to the Recruiting event website.
In addition to the public policing aspect of employment with the RCMP, the Force also offers Telecommunication Opportunities, you can explore that possible career path from this outline.
To learn more about what is required and the process involved to launch a career with the RCMP, visit the Careers page website, which provides a full review of what you need to know.
