Prince Rupert Skating Club's early registration set for Saturday

A new sheet of ice at the Jim Ciccone Civic Centre means a new season of skating ahead and for those looking to don their blades with the Prince Rupert Skating Club, the first of this year's registration opportunities arrives tomorrow.

Oceanside Sports on Third Avenue West is the registration point for tomorrows registration, which takes place from 11 AM to 2 PM.

The Civic Centre Club Night Registration takes place on Thursday, September 7th from 5 to 8PM

The club which features head coach Sheri Pringle offers a range of skate programs for beginners through to the more experienced members that have skated their way through the Prince Rupert programs over the years.

Members of the local programs not only take part in practice sessions at the Civic Centre, but also compete at events across the Northwest as well as prepare for the annual Ice Gala at the end of the season, one of the most popular of events that bring the skating to an end in the Spring.

You can find updates on club activities through the 2017-18 skating season through their Facebook page.
