Prince Rupert Minor Hockey gearing up for upcoming season

While the hot weather of late has perhaps taken your mind off of fall and winter, hockey season is fast approaching and the Prince Rupert Minor Hockey Association is reminding would be players for 2017-18 to make sure they are registered.

Online registration has been open through the summer and the PRMHA website offers up a online option to make sure your youngster is ready to take to the ice when the first of the practices is called.

PRMHA offers both house and rep teams for Prince Rupert's youth to participate in ranging from initiation to Midget, with a Girls Only league also offered, though it is dependant on player numbers and available coaching.

As of yet Scheduling for the 2017-18 season has not been released.

The PRMHA  is also in the quest for a head coach to provide supervisory duties for the leagues coaching program, among the duties for the position are:

Hockey Canada Coaching Certification 
Strong interest and commitment to child/athlete development 
Ability to work with fellow coaching personnel 
Ability to communicate on and off-ice requirements to players and parents 
Available to meet time requirements
