Many Civic Services in closed mode for long weekend

If sitting in the shade with a couple of good books is on your to do list for the BC Day Long Weekend, you have but hours left to head for the Prince Rupert Library to put together your reading list.

With the long weekend the Library will be closed through until Tuesday morning, resuming their normal hours of operation at 10 AM.

Likewise, Recreation activities at the Prince Rupert Civic Centre will also be on hold on BC Day this Monday. 

Those who use the Earl Mah Aquatic Centre by now have learned, that facility is closed and will remain so through the month of August for its annual maintenance.

Prince Rupert City Hall will also be closed on the holiday Monday, reopening for business on August 8th, the Monday holiday will also impact on the City garbage collection cycle, you can find out what day your garbage will be picked up here.
