As busy Fall season looms, City Rec Department puts out the Help Wanted Sign

With fall programs set to launch in Prince Rupert over the course of the next month, the City of Prince Rupert is looking for a little help on the front lines at the Recreation Centre, posting a Job opportunity yesterday for a Clerk for the McBride Street complex.

The Clerk position comes with a range of Qualification requirements and anticipated duties and responsibilities, you can review the full list of expectations below:

Interested applications for the Clerk position have until September 5th to submit their resume to the Recreation Department.

As we noted on the blog on August 4th, the City is also seeking a new Director of Recreation and Community Services, with Willa Thorpe having departed from her position in mid August.

The former Recreation Department head has moved to Port Alberni to take on the position of Recreation and Heritage Director for the Vancouver Island community.

That application process is set to close on August 31st.
