February 24th the final date for applications for Port Summer Student Job Opportunities



The intake period was launched today for high school, college or university students, who now can put their applications in for the twenty two Casual Summer positions now listed on the Port of Prince Rupert website.

The range of positions available cover many facets of Port Operations, with close to half of the 22 opportunities found in Asset Management and Public Affairs, with ten departments in total hosting jobs for this summer.



Applicants must be attending school, college or university during the last school year and be returning to their studies in the subsequent academic year, employment will start May 1st and continue through to August 31st.

Last week, we made note of the heads up for the upcoming jobs call that the Gitmaxmak'ay Society had offered up to their membership, today's application launch and release of information from the Port provides for a wider distribution of the available jobs and sets the timeline towards applications.

The Deadline for applications is February 24th, you can apply by dropping their resumes and cover letters off in person, by surface mail, by Fax or email, see the details below:
