Amorous wildlife latest highway danger for motorists to be aware of

There's a reason that the Deer are Dancing this month

There was a most unusual highway advisory issued by the Ministry of Transportation and Highways on Thursday, with an alert for motorists to be aware of rutting season, which apparently is now underway leaving the deer of the province to drop their inhibitions and let nature take its course where ever they may be.

Something that apparently includes in the middle of the province's highways ... should the mood hit just as you are passing by.


There's not much in the way of signs to watch for to be aware of amorous wildlife along your journey, but should you hear the soft strains of Barry White just off the side of the road, be forewarned that what you may come across just around that bend may just be for an 18+ audience.
