No Tsunami threat from 4.3 magnitude quake south of Haida Gwaii tonight


A 4.3 magnitude earthquake struck south of Haida Gwaii at 5:11 PM on Wednesday, the epicentre listed as 115 miles Southeast of Sandspit, 180 miles South of Prince Rupert.

The location is much the same area as a number of similar sized quakes in the region this year.



There was No Tsunami risk identified by this seismic event.
