VOPAK adjusts the dates for Public Comment period for proposed Bulk Fuels Terminal At Ridley Island

There has been a slight change to the community engagement process that VOPAK Pacific Canada has embarked on as part of their planning towards a proposed Bulk Fuels Terminal on Ridley Island.

As we outlined on November 5th, the Dutch energy company began the next stage of its proposal following the delivery of a Screening Decision from the BC Environmental Assessment Office.

Amy Dopson, the Community Engagement Specialist for the VOPAK project, has outlined that the Public Comment period will now take place from November 16th to December 30th as opposed to the original dates of November 10-Dec 25) 

The public comment process will allow those with an interest in the project to submit their comments to British Columbian Environmental Assessment Office.

There are two Virtual Open Houses planned for the engagement period.
