Firefighters from the District of Port Edward had a chance to get in some practice on auto extrication work this past weekend, as they took advantage of some resources from Bill Reid's salvage yard to get in a few hours of training.

With the District's Volunteer Fire Department tasked with a good portion of Highway 16 for their service area, keeping up with Emergency Response procedures towards auto incidents makes for a key element of their work.

The PEVFD Facebook page has provided a glimpse into the training program with a number of videos which you can review here.
