Digby Tower provides for its price point, as marketing for Prince Rupert's newest residential apartment option begins

Everything old is indeed New again as the marketing begins for
the refurbished Digby Tower in Prince Rupert.

With the parking woes in the rear view mirror, the owner of the Digby Tower appears to be getting closer to opening the doors and elevators to the moving vans, with the price point for the second tallest and recently refurbished apartment tower now available.

Much as it was prior to its closure, the apartments are of 1 Bedroom and Suite status, but the rents have certainly gone upwards since the last time anyone called the Digby Tower home.

Not surprisingly, the higher you go in the Tower, the more you pay with Floors 11 10 and 9 feature prices of $1,750 per month for the 1 bedroom model, the Studio going for $1,500

The remaining seven floors feature a sliding scale from 1,730 to 1,360

It's noted that the rental price includes water, parking and storage (subject to availability)

The launch of the New Digby Tower also has come with a video brochure of what all that extensive renovation has brought to the Prince Rupert rental market.

The all but abandoned residential tower was in extreme disrepair for close to a decade, and as the background page from its time of sale indicates, more than a few potential deals fell through before Multifamily Real Estate closed the deal for the $1.5 million purchase price.

The Description of the building prior to sale, certainly foreshadowed the price point now in place and the prospect of the Digby Tower becoming the  high end 60 unit rental destination in the city.

Purchased by Victoria investor Michael Shore, the extensive renovation work on the building began in February of 2021, the final work now that of the parking area adjacent to the Sherbrooke Street residence.

Those with an interest in renting one of the suites can contact the Rental office at 250-661-1608 or by email at DigbyTowerPR@outlook.com
