It's nomination season in Prince Rupert as the City makes plans for its annual Awards program of Civic Appreciation, the annual celebration one which offers up seven categories for recognition.
With a June 9th deadline in mind, City Hall is seeking nominations for:
Freedom of the City
Civic Merit Award
Civic Appreciation Award
Certificate of Appreciation
Appreciation Pin
Achievement Award
Sgt. Willam Booth Award for Valour

You can also pick up a nomination form from City hall at 424 Third Avenue West
City staff note that only nominations that have been submitted on the appropriate nomination form will be considered for the award.
In past years the Awards Ceremony has made for part of the Canada Day celebrations at Mariner's Park.
