Metlakatla Ladies look to be back in the game come February

As teams with plans for participation in the 2024 All Native Basketball Tournament get into serious training mode for the fall and winter, one team is looking to get back into the thick of the annual competition after a few years away from the event.

The Metlakatla Ladies Basketball Team is already back on the court having secured some Gym space in the city to get into tournament shape, they put forward their plans in late October with a call for players.

The team did not participate in the 2022 tournament. With the 2021 event cancelled their last action on the court came in the 2020 ANBT.

Tournament planning for the 2024 event continues, with the organizing committiee noting that the Invite packages have been sent out to those who had requested them.
