| Environment Canada has issued a Wind Warning for the North Coast, Haida Gwaii and areas of the Central Coast |
A wicked wind this way is coming, that's the word from Environment Canada which issued a WIND WARNING for the North Coast Region and Haida Gwaii areas this afternoon.
The advisory noting that the strong frontal system approaching from the south will arrive by Wednesday afternoon and bring winds of 90 to 120 km/h to the region.
They observe of the potential for damage from winds of that speed.
Rain will signal the start of the system that comes tonight and continues through to Friday
The weather maker also will bring a STORM WARNING for marine areas of the region
