PRPA road trip takes future plans for port facilities to the Legislature

Sharing the word on the plans ahead for the PRPA.
Port officials provided for a presentation to MLA's on Tueasday
at the BC Legislature

The Prince Rupert Port Authority did some community stakeholder work with the members of the BC Legislature this week, the Port hosting an information session for MLA's in Victoria on Tuesday.

The presentation to the MLA's noting of the plans for growth for the Port, including their 750 million dollar Ridley Island Export Logistics Project, an initiative that the province has put 25 million dollars towards.

Port officials also thanked the Province for the $65 million provided to the City of Prince Rupert to address water system upgrades. 

The Port noting how these investments into municipal and Port infrastructure are key examples of the shared commitment to the success of our Gateway and the community that supports it.  

On hand for the Port's presentation were North Coast MLA Jennifer Rice, along with Ricahrd Pucci the City of Prince Rupert's Director of Operations and Intergovernmental Relations.
