Weather Warning in effect for North Coast Inland sections

An extended forecast of freezing drizzle for the Terrace, Kitimat and Stewart areas of the Northwest have given Environment Canada cause to issue a Weather Warning for those areas.

The air mass currently over the Northwest will provide for freezing drizzle to be created over the inland region for the majority of the day today.

You can check the forecast for the inland areas from the Environment Canada website, as well driving conditions along the highways of the Northwest can be reviewed from the Drive BC site, at the moment the only cautionary note is advised for the Nisga'a Highway in both directions.
