Final Skate of the year for Prince Rupert Skating Club comes up this Saturday

The practice sessions are all but complete and the program for the final show of the year is in place as the Prince Rupert Skating Club prepares to present its year end Gala this Saturday evening at the Jim Ciccone Civic Centre Arena.

The always anticipated season finale highlights the skills that have developed through the year on instruction and allows the skaters one final chance to take to the ice for the 2015-16 season. Participants have been working hard through the recents weeks to get their performances just right and will continue their rehearsals right up until the day of the event.

Show time for Come Fly With Me is at 7 PM, with the doors to the Civic Centre opening up at 6:30, tickets are available at Oceanside Sports or at the door on Saturday night. Tickets go for 10 dollars for Adults 13 and over, 5 dollars for Children 4- 12 years, and its's Free Admission for those Under 3

The Skating Club has two more functions coming up to bring the year to an end, their annual awards banquet takes place on Monday March 14th, while the Loonie Auction has been rescheduled to April 16th and will take place at the Highliner Inn, more on that highly popular fund raising event will be revealed as they get closer to Auction time.
