City Council Preview, Monday, June 13, 2016
cancelling the planned Public Hearing set for tonight, a hearing that was related to the Official Community Plan Amendment Bylaw. A note added to the cancellation notice advises that the rescheduled date will be announced at a later date.
With that cancellation, the work load on the evening also gets shortened quite a bit, as the City tables for consideration until a date in the future the adoption of the City of Prince Rupert Impact Assessment Bylaw and the Adoption of the City of Prince Rupert Quality of Life Official Community Plan Amending Bylaw.
As well, the city will table first, second and third readings of the proposed Park Dedication Removal and Disposal bylaw, putting that process on hold in order to obtain required information.
With those procedural issues out of the way, the rest of the evening will feature a range of reports, resolutions from Closed meetings and Bylaw issues to consider.
The full review of the evening ahead can be found from the Revised Agenda for the Regular Council Session for June 12, 2016, the Original version with active links to the various components can be viewed here.
Council will also host a session at 5 PM closed to the public, to address items related to:
