SD52 appoints new Vice Principal for Ecole Roosevelt Park School

Ecole Roosevelt Park Community
School will get a new Vice-Principal
for 2016-17
More change is coming to the roster of administration at Prince Rupert schools, as School District 52 announces the hiring of a new Vice-Principal for École Roosevelt Park Community School.

Mr. Peter Scott will take up the duties of Vice Principal of the west side school as of August 1st, he arrives in the School District with a Bachelor's of Education Degree from UBC, a Bachelor of Arts Degree from SFU and a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership and Management from Royal Roads in Victoria.

Mr. Scott has been an elementary educator since 2007 and in their announcement of his appointment the School District notes that "He believes in fostering student growth both academically and socially through a leadership framework where all students become life-long and self-regulated learners"

Mr. Scott will be replacing Ms. Stephanie Coates, in its announcement, the School District notes Ms. Coates has decided to re-locate out of the community to be closer to her family.
