A bit of relief from the Arctic front as Outflow Warning lifted for Prince Rupert area
The North Coast is receiving a bit of a break from the recent bone chilling temperatures with Environment Canada bringing an end to its Arctic Outflow Warning for the coastal regions of the Northwest.
The Warning however is still in place for areas inland with the Arctic Outflow conditions bringing winds of up to 90 km/h and wind chills for the region to the minus 25 range.
For Prince Rupert and other coastal communities the sunny skies will remain as well as the cold temperatures, with the prospect of further warnings a possibility depending on those winds as the weekend moves ahead.
You can keep track of the forecast from the Environment Canada website.
