Some of Prince Rupert's most talented musicians and singers will be on the stage Saturday night as the Ring System Music Studio presents their annual Jingle Bell Rock showcase, a lively evening of music from the students at the North Coast music studio.
The event has become a bit of a Christmas tradition for Prince Rupert with admission to the event by donation, with all of the proceeds to be directed to the Salvation Army's Christmas Appeal.
The popular event has seen the community respond to the Christmas time appeal each year, with generous contributions delivered from past concert night.
The Ring Music Studio is the creation of music teacher Ian Lihou and in addition to introducing local youth to music, he has been putting together the Christmas season concert for the last seven years.
Earlier this year Mr. Lihou was honoured for his work in the community as a winner of the 2015 Home Based Business of the Year during the 2016 Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Awards held in February.
Showtime for the Jingle Bell Rock Showcase is Saturday is at 7 PM.
