Travel between Haida Gwaii and Prince Rupert is proving to be a most challenging thing this month, with BC Ferries once again having to cancel an upcoming sailing owing to adverse weather.
With weather charts in hand, BC Ferries officials made their Service Notice announcement earlier this morning, cancelling the Thursday morning sailing from Prince Rupert to Skidegate, as a result the return trip back to the North Coast is also cancelled.
That as the waters off the North Coast and Haida Gwaii are now in the midst of a Hurricane Force Wind Warning, as the latest weather maker for the region makes its arrival.
