As COVID exposure listings increase, SD52 sets Thursday for Special Open Board meeting

With School District 52 now listing four exposure notices for the attention of students, staff, parents and guardians, the opportunity for those with concerns to share some thoughts could come by way of a Special Open Board meeting scheduled for Thursday night.

As we noted earlier today, SD52 updated their notes on the most recent advisories of the potential for exposure at three of the District's schools which include Lax Keen, Conrad Elementary and Prince Rupert Middle School.

Following the release of the latest advisories, the School District posted a rather brief notice of the Special Open Board Meeting to their website,

The agenda for the meeting notes that a Report from the Superintendent will feature  COVID-19 update, followed by a Question and Answer Period.

The Special Open Meeting will take place by Zoom Thursday starting at 5PM and to participate you have to register for access to the session.

To do so contact Tamara Dickens at TamaraDickens@sd52.bc.ca

Note: This story has been updated to note the posting of the Agenda for the Thursday session.
