Prince Rupert based City West has commenced with a rather large call for potential employees listing seven current open positions on their website, ranging from Operations to Customer Service and everything in between.
With such a large call for applicants, the first priority for CityWest management may be to fill the Human Resources Manager position, that in order to help towards filling the score of job opportunities now available, the details on that position can be reviewed here.
The HR Manager's position, which does not have an end date for the application period notes that the job is located in Prince Rupert but applicants must have a willingness to travel across the communities within the CityWest operating areas, a territory that now extends to Vanderhoof.

The surprisingly large number of positions now available would seem to suggest either a major expansion of the local workforce in the city; or perhaps a rather large turnover of employees from one of the city's most recognized employers.
The North Coast Review has forwarded an email request for some background on the current flurry of job openings at the Prince Rupert company, though no response has been received as of yet.

The City of Prince Rupert is the only share holder in CityWest, the communication company has offices across the Northwest in Terrace. Kitimat and Smithers and recently expanded its operations as far east as Vanderhoof.
