The Prince Rupert and District Chamber of Commerce luncheon tomorrow will make for the big reveal on the findings from a recent Chamber initiated survey on air travel in and out of Prince Rupert.
As we noted on Friday, the survey was introduced through the Chamber Facebook page last week as their first response to the announcement of the suspension of air service to the city by Air Canada, and at last report the Chamber had received over 250 responses to their short questionnaire.
The last flight between Prince Rupert and Vancouver departed from Digby Island Airport on Sunday.
Tomorrow the Chamber will share their findings with those participating in the virtual event.
As part of this months gathering, those zooming in will also learn more about the proposed Vopak Pacific Canada bulk liquids and marine export facility project, a community engagement period for the project recently came to a conclusion.
Wednesday's Chamber event may offer up a glimpse of what's ahead as VOPAK navigates the pathway towards development if the project is approved.
You can register for Wednesday's virtual luncheon which takes place from 11:45 to 1PM here.
Admission to the event is fee based, with the schedule of fees posted to the link above.
