A moment for Quiet reflection following Remembrance Day 2022 ceremony

Prince Rupert residents remembered those who served and those who died during military battle today, the November 11th ceremonies taking place under sunny skies and with crisp temperatures, the first of the annual remembrances to take place without the restrictions of COVID of the last few years.

Lest We Forget
A large number of Prince Rupert residents, businesses and industrial
organizations delivered wreaths to the Cenotaph in remembrance
of the nation's war dead on Friday

Long after the parade to the Court House and today's remembrance ceremony had ended, North Coast residents continued to visit the Cenotaph area of the Prince Rupert Court House, paying their own silent tributes.

Some as has become tradition in recent years leaving their poppies on the steps of the Cenotaph as a farewell for this year to those who served.

Notes that we come across over the next few days as to how the community observed Remembrance Day today will be added to this archive page.

So check back often.
