November 17th is the night to pay tribute to the volunteers at Prince Rupert's Lester Centre of the Arts |
The success of Prince Rupert's Lester Centre comes in may forms, from the management and community support for the facility to the performers that tale to its stage.
But perhaps the greatest success for the facility comes from the volunteers to show up for each event to ensure the all goes smoothly and that a good night out is enjoyed by all.
Towards those who volunteer their time Lester Centre Manager Chris Armstrong is organizing a get together to honour that commitment.
With Thursday, November 17th at 7PM to be set aside for Volunteer Appreciation Night in the Lester Centre lobby area of the facility on Wantage Road at McBride Street.
And as Armstrong notes, the night isn't just for those that have helped out in the past, but also a welcome to those who might want to join in on the volunteer work at the local arts and culture centre.
"This is an opportunity for us to acknowledge the great work that's done by our volunteers, and it also gives us a chance to see who else might be interested in being part of the Lester Centre family. Our volunteers are a key part of our performers, and they help us build a sense of connectedness with audiences and performers alike."
