3-0 record could belong to the Rampage by Thanksgiving Day

With the Prince Rupert Rampage ready to take for two games in two nights,  the stage is set for a pretty good start to the 2018-19 season, with the hometown Rhinos within grasp of a 3-0 placement in the standings by the time they dig into their turkey dinners.

The Rampage are on the road tonight, bound for Terrace to help the River Kings open up their CiHL season at the Terrace Ice Arena, with the Rupert squad looking to pick up where they left off last weekend in Kitimat when they topped the Ice Demons 5-1 in the ice breaker for both teams.

The Kitimat game saw the offensive push benefit from some new faces, with Judd Repole making his mark in the line up with three assists on the night, defensively the Rhinos were strong as well, shutting down the Ice Demons for much of the second and third periods on the way to victory, with Keanu Wilson holding off the Kitimat snipers from the Rupert net.

For the moment, the CIHL banner belongs to Terrace.

serve notice to the River Kings that it is up for grabs.

The challenge tonight will be a tough one, going up against the defending CIHL champion River Kings who will be seeking to repeat their success of a year ago and make another run for the Coy Cup in the Spring.

Tonight's puck drop goes at 7PM, CityWest will be broadcasting the action back to Prince Rupert through their Community Channels of HD310 and SD10.

Saturday night, it's the home ice debut for the Rampage, as the Kitimat Ice Demons come to town looking to return the favour and spoil the home opener in Prince Rupert.

In anticipation for puck drop on Saturday, the Rampage put in the call to the prospects camp, with Charlie Brown added to the roster for the Kitimat game.



A reminder for Rampage fans, that this year there will be beer sales available at the Jim, with fans allowed to sit in their seats to enjoy their favourite beverage while the watch the action.

With that however will come an increased security presence in the arena to ensure that all can enjoy the game in a safe and comfortable fashion.

The other note to keep in mind, is that there will be No Televised Home games for the Rampage this year, with the CityWest Schedule focused on covering the Rampage road travels for much of the season.

Saturday night offers up the best value for your weekend entertainment.

Tickets are available at the door: Adults, 10 dollars,  18 and under 5 dollars, 60 plus get in for five dollars and youngsters five and under get in for Free!
