There is more change underway for the Prince Rupert campus of Coast Mountain College, with the local educational institution once again seeking a top management official for the North Coast.
Former Coast Mountain College Associate Dean Matt Adolphe |
Mr. Adolphe's time on the North Coast was somewhat short, having been in place on campus for just a bit over six month in total, having joined Coast Mountain College in the summer of 2019.
His departure is just the latest among those that have held a senior management position in Prince Rupert; a campus which has seen a steady number of arrivals and departures in those ranks in recent years.
A job posting on the Coast Mountain College website would also seem to indicate a change in management overview for the Prince Rupert campus, with the focus shifting somewhat in the duties for a Manager of Learner Services.
Reporting to the Director of Student Recruitment and Success, the Manager of Learner Services is responsible for three main areas: leadership of academic advising, learning assistance, and accessibility services; management of the Prince Rupert campus; and, community relations in and around Prince Rupert, including Haida Gwaii.
Sarah Zimmerman, the Executive Director of Communication for Coast Mountain College observed for the North Coast Review, that the new position at the Prince Rupert campus reflects areas where the greatest need for support is.
