Herb Pond takes up the 'Re-elect" narrative for his 2022 campaign for Mayor

Everything old is new again, as former Mayor Herb Pond
calls on the Re-elect theme for his 2022 campaign

He may have last held office as Mayor in 2008, but once a Mayor always a Mayor it seems, with Prince Rupert civic election candidate Herb Pond taking up the theme of "Re-elect' for Mayor Pond" towards his run towards the October 15th finish line.

The statute of limitations on title holding seemingly not up fourteen years later,  as his campaign for 2022 picks up speed.

When it comes to this most current quest for office, Mr Pond has handed in his nomination papers and now is listed among the confirmed candidates for the October 15th vote.

He rolled out the re-elect positioning  as part of his social media notes this week. With the candidate set to host a meet and greet at Cowpucino's Coffee House this afternoon from 4 to 5:30PM

The mayoralty candidate's social media stream has seen some additional themes added as the week moved forward, that as the 2022 campaign prepares to enter its active push towards the October 15th vote following the close to nominations this afternoon at 4.

More notes on the 2022 campaign can be reviewed from our archive page.

  1. Those might be signs from previous election campaigns and there may be an environmental narrative: "Reduce Recycle Reuse".
