Final day for applications for City of Prince Rupert Community Enhancement Grants arrives tomorrow

Just over twenty four hours remain for those groups or organizations in the community who may wish to access some grant funding from the City of Prince Rupert.

The application period for the 2023 Grant program was opened in mid July, with the city receiving applications through the summer, the window to apply however closes tomorrow at 4PM.

As we noted in July, the 2021 program saw 1.5 million dollars in funding for grants or contributions in kind delivery to successful applicants, a look at where that money was allocated is found below:

The history of payments from year to year since 2010 can be reviewed from the City's Statement of Financial information listings.

The 2022 SOFI Report was delivered to Council In June of this year, it lists the total financial funding from the City of 1.5 million dollars for 2021, marking a drop in funding from 1.7 million dollars the year before.

More information and links to the application forms can be examined here.

Those successful from the 2022 intake should hear more from the City by the start of 2023 if not before.
