Pace for Ocean Centre Bus Pullout construction moves forward with lane closure announced for Thursday

Work started in late August on the Ocean Centre Bus Pullout
project, with the pace increasing through this week

Work on the Ocean Centre Bus Pullout has seen some big strides this week with much of the removal of the sidewalk area that will make for the new pullout now complete.

Contractors have spent the week so far clearing the debris of cement to prepare for the next stage of the work, which it would seem is coming up fast.

A look at the prep work underway from the East side of
the Ocean Centre front area

Today the City of Prince Rupert posted a notice for motorists related to a lane closure in place for the period ahead.

Some background on the Ocean Centre pullout work and other potential plans for additional work along Second Avenue West can be reviewed from our notes of late August.

More notes on themes from the City can be examined from our Council archive page.
