As we outlined yesterday, both the Federal and Provincial governments have advised how Canadians and British Columbians will observe Monday's National Day of Mourning and Funeral of Queen Elizabeth II.

The scope of who has the day off and who may still have duties at work have been provided through a pair of information releases which you can review here.

This morning the City of Prince Rupert outlined the scope of the civic closures for the community on Monday, including the re-scheduling of the City Council session of the 19th to the 20th.

Details related to the rescheduled Council session can be reviewed here.

Any further notes from the City to the theme can be followed through their social media feed.

School District 52 has noted through their website and social media stream of the provincial instructions and announced the closure of Schools on Monday, September 19th.

Coast Mountain College has also outlined its plans for the National Day of Mourning which will see classes cancelled for the day at all of their campus locations.

We'll add more closures of note, should advisories be issued.

More notes on community themes can be reviewed here.
