Sunny skies set the tone for Sunday's Terry Fox Run, with Northern Savings Credit Union once again playing host for the Prince Rupert part of the National fundraising project through the Terry Fox Foundation.

On Friday, we had previewed some of what was planned from the volunteers at the Credit Union who had been working on the event through the summer.

The Sunday afternoon run along the waterfront and back to the Third Avenue West Branch sending 102 participants to the run, with 20 Credit Union employee-volunteers helping to keep things running.

Northern Savings has a long list of those to offer thanks to, including the members of Prince Rupert Fire/Rescue who helped with traffic control.

You can review who stepped up to help Northern Savings with another successful Terry Fox Run day from their Social media post here, which also features a number of photos of the event.
