North Coast Transition Society seeks to fill gap in December Food Bank needs

With the Salvation Army turning its attention to the preparation of the Food Hampers for the Holiday period, the North Coast Transition Society has issued a call for assistance seeking non perishable goods to help out those in need.

Through this month, the Society is accepting donations at their Park Avenue offices or through Fishermans Hall on Fraser Street (near Save On Foods) the focus for the collection campaign is on dry goods, or those in jars or cans.

The NCTS provided a short list to a post on their Facebook page last week which outlines the situation and suggestions for those that can lend a hand.
