It's deja vu for Haida Gwaii, after a weekend of hurricane force winds things are about to pick up again overnight on the islands, as well as to bring a turn for the North Coast to batten down its hatches as Environment Canada issues a WIND WARNING for all coastal regions of the North Coast and for Haida Gwaii.
The Warning issued this afternoon is calling for Winds of 90 kilometres, gusting to 100 km/h into early Tuesday morning.
The winds come from an intense Pacific front set to pass through the region this evening and overnight, it's anticipated the winds will ease off by Tuesday morning.
