Lester Centre the host for festive celebrations in lead up to Christmas

It's Christmas Concert Season for the Lester Centre

The spirit of the holidays will be echoing through the foyer of the Lester Centre for the next few weeks with a number of concerts on the schedule to get you in a Christmas frame of mind.

The Sounds of the Season get underway this Saturday when  Jingle Bell Rock returns to the Lester Centre Stage, as the musicians from Ian Lihou's Ring System Music Studio provide for the soundtrack on the night. The curtain goes up at 7:30 PM, admission is by Donation and will be directed towards the Salvation Army's Christmas Appeal

One night later, School District 52 hosts its annual Holiday Concert, with the Sunday show set for a 2PM start. The matinee performance features students from Prince Rupert's elementary schools, as well as Prince Rupert Middle School on stage. Admission is by donation with the benefits to go to the  SD52 music program.

Thursday, December 20th is the night for Annunciation students to show their stuff, with the Annunciation School Concert to take place at 7PM. Music and readings will make for the night's entertainment.
