Air Band contest looks to raise funds for CHSS wrestling

If you've got a killer Led Zeppelin, Queen, Bon Jovi or some other legendary rocker collective in your air band repertoire, your chance to shine is coming up fast as the Charles Hays Secondary Wrestling team hosts an Air band competition tomorrow at the Lester Centre.

There are two shows set for the event, a 4PM edition featuring students of the school and the 7:30 show that will open the field to anyone in the community who has ever channelled their inner Pete Townshend on Who Are You!

A panel of judges for the night will determine who is Prince Rupert's Air Band Kings or Queens, included on the list of those to make the final call, Mayor Lee Brain, Superintendent of Schools Irene Lapierre and Aaron Vitktil of Replica.

Tickets for the show are 10 dollars in advance or 15 at the door.

You can pick up your tickets from any member of the wrestling team or at Charles Hays Secondary School.
