Putting the HIT! Into hit the links at the Smithers Charity Golf Tournament this summer

The list of attendees for this years Charity golf tournament in Smithers already features some fairly impressive names, Bobby Orr, Harold Snepsts, Charlie Simmer, as well as names familiar to the Smithers area in Joe and Jim  Watson and Dan Hamhuis.

But now, well, grab some foil and tee it up, as the Smithers organizing committee has brought in some heavyweights, with the Hanson Brothers announced as on board for the Celebrity Hockey Game and the Golf Tournament this August.

The Charity fundraiser hockey game is set for August 13th at the Smithers Arena with a puck drop of 7:00 PM

The Long drive competition, celebrity practice round and Team Auction are set for August 14th at the Golf Course.

While the Tournament itself and Banquet to follow take place on August 15th

Considering the list of those ready to tee it up, working the gallery of the tournament this year may be even more fun that actually taking to the links over the eighteen holes of golf.

All of the events from the three days in Smithers are to benefit the Bulkley Valley Hospital and Health Care Foundation.

Global Television's Steve Darling will be handling a number of MC duties during the course of the weekend, with a growing list of celebrities indicating that they will be making the trip to Smithers for the 2015 event, you can review the latest additions here.
