Rupert Runners loooking for volunteers to help organize this years Cannery Run

It's an event that is still three months away on the calendar, but unless some community minded residents step up in the next few weeks to lend a hand the Annual Cannery Road Race may not be among the list of running events for 2015.

The Rupert Runners organization has found that a few of their volunteers have stepped to the sidelines this spring and summer, meaning that the local running group is in need of some volunteers to step in and lend a hand.

Of particular note for this years running schedule is the need to have people in place for the planning of the popular Cannery Road Race, which is set to take place this September 12th.

In particular the Group needs a Race Director to be in place shortly and without one, the annual event could be in danger of not taking place.
