BC Conservation Officer Service back on the North Coast after numerous wolf calls from Port Edward


The District of Port Edward has advised its residents that members of the British Columbia Conservation Officer Service are back in the District as they response to a number of reports of wolves in the community.

Towards assisting the officers in their work while in Port Edward, the District is reminding residents to call in any sightings  or encounters that they have to the Conservation Officer Service Reporting line of 1-877-952-7277 (RAPP) or by calling #7277 on the TELUS Mobility Network.



The District also provided a link to further information on Human/Wildlife contact from the provincial website which you can review here.

There were a number of wolf sightings in Port Edward last year including one serious incident which saw a resident attacked and subsequently requiring hospitalization.
