Contractor set to get road and infrastructure work underway in Port Edward

Residents of Port Edward will see some activity getting underway towards road and infrastructure work in the Evergreen and Wildwood Street area of the District starting next week.

An advisory from the District of Port Edward has advised those in the area that contractor C & C Road Maintenance will be getting some early work  underway, with notice delivered to those who may be impacted as things ramp up.

The timelines for the work and contact persons related to the project make for  some of the information that has been delivered  to residents of the area.

We outlined some of the plans for the District in early December.

Further notes on the road work and more can be found on the District's Facebook page.

The contract for the Port Edward work is just the latest one for the road maintenance company, last summer it was selected by the City of Prince Rupert to roll out the city's road paving program.
