The pattern has been a pretty familiar one for these first eleven days of 2021, with Environment Canada issuing a number of Wind Warnings and Weather Advisories since the start of the year.
Most of them son far, have not seemingly been as problematic as first offered up, with the marine systems shifting enough to spare the North Coast a full on hit, though last week the strong winds did have some impact on Haida Gwaii.
Much of today's weather approach will be felt south of the North Coast, with Vancouver Island set to be the centre of today's weather making system.
Though that means that our warm but unpredictable weather will also continue on this week, with the latest of Wind Warnings put in place earlier this morning, calling for Southeast winds of up to 110 km/h set to arrive this evening and then to ease once again overnight.
As has been the case for each of the previous weather warnings, Marine Conditions will be challenging with a STORM WARNING in place for today and overnight. Winds will com from the southeast and reach up to 60 knots this evening, diminishing and shifting to the southwest at 20 knots by Tuesday morning.
You can access updates on the latest weather conditions ahead from the Environment Canada website.
