Adverse weather makes for Schedule revision for Northern Expedition

With the latest weather system set to introduce itself to the waters off the North Coast and Haida Gwaii, BC Ferries has announced a schedule revision for the Northern Expeditions Monday sailing between Skidegate and Prince Rupert.

The schedule advisory comes as a STORM Warning is issued for the water of Hecate Strait for today and tomorrow.

The vessel will now depart the Skidegate Terminal at Noon today, with arrival taking place in Prince Rupert at 6PM.

The sailing will make for one of only a few crossings for January so far, with a number of previously scheduled runs suspended or cancelled in the first ten days of the month owing to the string of storms that have arrived in the region.

You can access updates on sailings from the BC Ferries Service Notices page.
